Market Hours & Model

Blue Ocean is the only US ATS to operate during our trading hours.

Blue Ocean's trading session is 8pm - 4am Eastern Time for sessions for each Monday to Friday excluding market holidays.

Due to the nature of our hours, Blue Ocean begins its trading session at 8pm ET the prior calendar day. For example, a Monday session begins at 8pm ET the proceeding Sunday, and ends 4am on the applicable Monday.

A trading week's final session for a Friday therefore begins on Thursday 8pm ET and ends on Friday 4am ET.
