Is the “Opening” session at 07:00 HKT considered a pre-market session?

The Pre-Market Session begins at 6:00PM ET and runs until 8:00PM ET. During this time, only test symbol orders are accepted.

The “Opening” session at 07:00 HKT is not a production pre-market session. Instead:

  • The Pre-Market Session begins at 6:00PM ET and runs until 8:00PM ET.

  • During this period, clients may submit orders in Test Symbols only.

  • The Market Session begins at 8:00PM ET, at which time clients may send real, production symbol orders.

This ensures proper system readiness before live trading begins.
